The Education Network (T.E.N.) is the television
production service of the School District of Palm Beach County. The
network broadcasts on Comcast channel 19, twenty-four hours a day and is also webcast over the District’s website.

The S.T.A.R.S. staff is available to assist educators with
demonstrations, use of the equipment and any necessary training needed
to enhance teaching and to facilitate learning.

The Education Network
presents School Technology and Resource Support (S.T.A.R.S.) Center
located at The Education Network (T.E.N.) 505 South Congress Avenue,
Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
The resource center is open to school district teachers, media
specialists, and other instructional personnel who can come to T.E.N. to
use current technology to create lesson plans and to share resources to
enhance their curriculum and classrooms.
The goal of S.T.A.R.S. is to help Palm Beach County Educators expand
their skills, bring their curriculum alive, and create projects that
address different learning styles in order to better meet the needs of
their students. The mission statement of S.T.A.R.S. is to provide
resources for teachers to enhance the learning environment, enrich the
curriculum, and empower instruction.
The center provides both high tech and low tech resources including a
computer lab with printers and scanners along with video editing suites
with production and editing equipment. Available for loan are digital
cameras, video cameras, light kits and microphones, a document camera,
poster machine, laminator, color copy machine, Ellison die cuts and
presses and arts and crafts supplies.
S.T.A.R.S. hours are: Monday: 12:30 to 6:30 pm, Tuesday – Friday: 9:00
