ABE (Adult Basic Education) “A Better Education”

Free Adult Education Classes that will help you improve your reading, writing and math skills so that life will be easier.

ABE is a program to provide basic literacy and life skills for adults who perform at or below the eighth grade level.

People with less than a high school education will be able to fill only 14% of the jobs of the future. (National Institute of Literacy Statistics, 2003)

The two most common barriers to working are lack of a high school diploma and transportation. (Children’s Defense Fund: State of America’s Children Yearbook, 2000)
