ABE, “A Better Education”
ABE
programs provide instruction in basic academic skills and GED
preparation and are free of charge. Adult education classes
will help you improve your reading, writing and math skills
to improve your quality of life and help you advance in your
education or occupation.

The mission of Adult Basic Education
(ABE)
ABE program provide instruction in the basic skills
of reading, writing, and mathematics to adult learners in order
to prepare them for transitioning into the labor market or higher
academic or vocational training. ABE also assists adult learners in
transitioning from adult basic education into jobs, higher education,
or vocational training
ABE provides basic literacy and life skills for adults who perform
at or below the eighth grade level.
